Important
Assembly 12pm TodayBecause we have seen such outstanding 3C behaviour around the school and at swimming sports of Friday we are going to trust you with a challenge that has never been given to students before at MIS.

Instead of lining up outside your classrooms to walk into assembly at the end of Break 2, we would like you to come into the hall without doing this and without teacher supervision. This means you need to use an enormous amount of common sense and courtesy. House Leaders will be there to help.

BEFORE the end of break 2, you need to be in your full uniform and have sandals or shoes on. As soon as the end of break 2 bell goes, you are to walk quietly to the quad and then file into the hall. There needs to be silence on the quad and in the hall.

If you sit on the netball court side of the hall you will walk into the hall at the front where the stage is or  in through the aisle in the middle. Then you use the hall centre aisle to go to your seat. First one in, sits at the wall end of the row and next person sits beside them - there is no assembly order.

If you sit on the quad side you will go into the hall by walking along the row you will be sitting in. First one in goes right to the end of the row where the centre aisle is.

If you have extremely high levels of self control you may come silentyl into the hall during break 2 and sit without any talking, waiting for assembly to start.

1000 bonus house points for the houses that can do this successfully.
House LeadersCould all house leaders meet Mrs Stiles in the hall at the BEGINNING of break 2. You need to be dressed for a formal assembly and wearing your house leader hats. Thank you
Mr Gibbs  Well done to Mr Gibbs for winning the Matamata Golf Club Summer Cup on Saturday.
